All about the Festival
2013 Festival
The 2013 Festival is scheduled for Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15. The Festival is held at the Cravath Lakefront Park in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Tickets
Admission is FREE for everyone during the entire festival! All food and beverages must be purchased with BBQ bucks. There is a BBQ Bucks booth at the entrance of the festival.

Festival Entertainment
Located right in the heart of the festival and situated along Cravath Lake is our entertainment stage. There’s lots of space to dance and, when the sun goes down, there’s a whole lotta shakin’ going on!
This year’s lineup hasn’t yet been announced, but you can get the flavor by reading about last year’s entertainers!
PigAsso Fair
Bring your shopping bag and prepare to be delighted by the fine items in the Pig in the Park Arts & Crafts Festival. Many of our artisans demonstrate their skills and enjoy chatting with you about their craft. If you want to participate, visit the Crafters page and download an application.
PigNic Court
All food and beverages must be purchased with BBQ Bucks, so look for the booth that sell the bucks first.
What would a BBQ event be without delicious sweets and treats?
Thirsty? You can find Wisconsin brewed beers, wine from local vineyards, bottled water and soda.
Hog Heaven!
The heart and the soul of Pig in the Park is where our competition cook teams set up their sites to vie for prestige, cash prizes
and awards in the State Barbecue Championship. Teams must compete in all four Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) sanctioned categories; Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork and Beef Brisket to be considered for Grand Champion. The judging for the main event is on Saturday afternoon and awards are announced in the late afternoon on the music stage.
Judging is by KCBS certified judges and we use a double blind system to ensure a fair and equal contest.
On Friday, the teams that wish may compete in our first “Dessert” events. Celebrity judges (special friends of the Festival) are invited to participate under the direction of KCBS certified judges. These events take
place on Friday, exact time has not been set.

Kids of all ages will enjoy the PigPen.
